Identity & Career

Identity

I was born on September 19 in Sibiu, Transylvania (Romania). My family belongs to the Landler minority, Austrian Protestants who were deported by Maria Theresa between 1734 and 1756 because of their religion. I spent my early years in Romania. In 1985, my family fled the communist regime and settled in Germany, where I lived until 2005.

Career

My banking apprenticeship at Bayerische Landesbank (Bayern LB) marked the beginning of a 20-year career in banking and finance. In the final years of this two-century-old industry journey, I served as the global head of organizational effectiveness for 900 employees at S&P in London (UK).

In 2019, I was ready to cross the threshold and embark on a new stage of life with my coaching activities. MagnoliaTree – my coaching and consulting company – was born.

I hold an M.A. in Change Leadership from Columbia University, New York, a Dipl. Betriebswirt (FH) from AKAD Stuttgart, and an M.A. in Advanced Management from PFH Goettingen. In addition, I have earned several certifications in coaching, consulting, and training. I am also trained in NLP, innovative training methods, and as a trainer for Gestalt and systems thinking.
